How does Santa Cruz Deliveries work?
You can use the Santa Cruz Delivery mobile (iOS and Android) or web app to request a delivery from any merchant in your city. Once you've located the restaurant or store you'd like to order from, add the items you want to your cart, input your payment and contact info, and hit "Pay". If the merchant’s menu or catalog isn’t available in the SCD app, you can always use the "Custom Order" button which will allow you to create a custom order. Just make sure your instructions are as specific as possible so your delivery Agent will know exactly what to get. For instance, “One Tri-tip Sandwich with no Gorgonzola Cheese, please.”
Can I schedule my delivery in advance?
Yes! You are able to schedule a delivery for a later date or time.
On the checkout screen, tap on the “Schedule Later” section to select when you would like your order delivered. You can choose from 30 minutes time slots up to 30 days in advance.
After scheduling your delivery you’ll receive a confirmation email with the scheduled date and time. If for some reason the date or time is incorrect, or if your plans have changed, you can cancel your delivery at no cost to you as long as the delivery is not in progress.
Once delivery is scheduled, the time and date cannot be updated. You will need to cancel and reschedule.
Is your favorite restaurant currently closed? No problem, just search for them on the app and you’ll be able to schedule your delivery for when they open, or a later date and time.
From here select the items you want and you’ll go through the same process detailed above to schedule your delivery.
How do I get help with an order or charge?
If you have a question about an active or recent order (including charges), contact us through our “chat Support” for the faster service.
Simply tap the three lines in the top-left corner of the SCD app, click “orders” then click on the order you want help with and at the bottom-right you will see a red chat icon.
On the web, open up your Order History, select the order you need help with and click the blue chat icon.
In order to properly address your issue, and do any necessary follow-up with the merchant and/or Santa Cruz Deliveries, we will need to be notified within 10 Minutes of the completion of your delivery. Issues submitted within the 10 Minutes will be addressed first.
If you need to reach out to Customer Service more than 10 minutes after your delivery has been completed, you still can! Please note, issues submitted 10 minutes after the order has been completed may be subject to more restrictive guidelines.

What is Santa Cruz Deliveries Custom Order?
You can use Santa Cruz Deliveries to order food or goods from just about any restaurant or store. Custom Order lets you order from merchants who don't have live catalogs on our app. You can search for merchants in the app or web by tapping the magnifying glass icon at the top right-hand corner. Your total will be calculated and you will get an update with the merchant total, delivery fee, and processing fees.

Does Santa Cruz Deliveries Deliver Alcohol?
Yes, SCD delivers alcohol! You must be 21 or older to receive alcohol and the account owner must be present to accept the delivery.
Please be ready to show valid photo ID (state, military, or passport). Your Delivery Agent may take a picture of your ID, but it won’t be saved on their device.
If the alcohol cannot be delivered, you will be charged a return fee of $25. Your Delivery Agent cannot complete the delivery if the account owner:
-Is not present
-Does not have a valid photo ID
-Is under 21
Can a Delivery Agent pick up from multiple locations?
In the event you need items from multiple locations you can submit multiple orders at the same time, or you can place a Custom Order. However, if you order from multiple merchants through a Custom Order, Santa Cruz Deliveries can not assure every item will arrive in an appropriate condition.
What can I have delivered with Santa Cruz Deliveries?
Just about anything! Whether it's a burrito, tequila, or toilet paper! we will deliver it anywhere you are. Items we cannot deliver include controlled substances, live animals, and gift cards.
What is your referral program?
Thank you for wanting to share Santa Cruz Deliveries with your friends and family! When you refer a first-time customer through the app, they will immediately receive a $3 credit to apply toward their first delivery. Upon completion of their first order, you will also receive a $3 credit to apply towards your next delivery. To find your code, tap the gear in the top left corner of the app. You can share your code as many times as you like.
Can I send items to someone else from my behalf?
Yes! All you have to do is change the search address in the address bar at the top of the app or on the main page of the website to see which merchants are available near the person you want to send the items to instead of your own.

Our Delivery Agents are independent contractors. Your safety is extremely important to us and we screen all of our Agents with thorough background checks and use a rating system to give each Agent feedback
